Assessment and Evaluation
The area of assesment and evaluation provides information on the implementation and use of assessment data within the district including outcome studies which lead to strategically determined interventions and objectives; including those associated with the district Balance Score Card and data collection and progress reporting activities.

Assitive Technology
A wide variety of staff can be involved in the delivery of assistive technology services such as special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists. In addition, the Bismarck Special Education Department has employed an Augmentative Communication Specialist and Assistive Technology Specialist to assist teams with selection, acquisition, and use of devices.
