The Bismarck Public Schools Technology Helpdesk is available to all district staff. It is our objective to provide timely and effective support for all technical issues.
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday: 7:30am-4:00pm (we will periodically check voicemails, emails, and online requests the rest of the day)
(Not available during school holidays)
Requesting Technical Assistance
Technology service requests are assigned to a support specialist based on their building assignment. You can create a service request by calling the help desk at 323-4040, entering it online through the TMS or by emailing the HelpDesk (address found in Outlook Address Book).

Use the Technology Management System to log into the BPS Intranet to submit a service request to the BPS Technology Helpdesk. Use this system to create and manage technology service requests.

How to change your password
Changing your password is an important and responsible practice. When you choose a password, choose a strong one for your own protection. Strong passwords, A strong password contains:
a minimum of 8 characters
at least one lowercase letter
at least one uppercase letter
at least one number
Also, strong passwords: (1) Use a random mixture of characters & numbers . (2) Don't use a word found in a dictionary, English or foreign. (3) Don't just include a number after the previous password (e.g. buddy1, then buddy2, etc.)
Simultaneously hold down the CTRL + ALT + Delete keys to produce a "Logon Information" screen. Click the "Change Password..." button and fill in the fields with your current and new password.
You can also change your password via webmail
Login using your email username (e.g. firstname_lastname) and your email password.

*Enter your old password and new password
