The Johnson O'Malley (J.O.M.) program of the Bismarck School District is intended to meet special academic and liaison needs of American Indian students.

The Johnson O'Malley (J.O.M.) is coordinated through a parent advisory committee composed of parents and guardians of American Indian students. They advise the Minority Director, Project Coordinator and District in the direction and implementation of the Johnson O'Malley program.

It is the intent of the Indian Education programs to collaborate with the existing programs in the Bismarck Public School.

Academic Assistance

Student requirements for academic assistance is an application of tribal enrollment on file in Johnson O'Malley Office showing that the student is enrolled; or a minimum requirement of 1/4 tribal blood from parents. (Maximum allowance of $50 per student, per year).
